土浦市の歴史的建造物の利活用構想の策定を目的とした２回目の現地演習では、３つのグループに分かれて調査に取り組みました。
グループ1）一色家住宅の写真測量と全周囲カメラでの記録
グループ1では一色家住宅の立面写真測量の写真撮影と室内全周囲カメラでの撮影を行いました。立面写真測量では3Dモデルを作成するため、一色家住宅の外観を撮影しました。複数枚撮影し、それを専用ソフトに取り込み３Dモデルを自動作成します。一色家住宅は庭が広く木々が生い茂っているため、完全な３Dモデルを作成するには工夫が必要だと感じました。
室内全周囲カメラでの撮影では360度撮影ができるカメラを用いて、バーチャルツアーの作成を前提とした撮影を行いました。実際にバーチャルツアーを閲覧する際の導線を意識した撮影は初めての経験でした。そのためどの地点で、どのような目線で撮影するかを検討して行いました。バーチャルツアーの作成は簡単に作成できる媒体から専門的なソフトまで様々な種類があります。今回の一色家住宅に適したソフトや汎用性のあるソフト等を比較し、実際に色々なパターンで作成します。
今回の撮影を通して撮影箇所や方法等、改善点が多く見つかったので次回の演習ではそれを踏まえて活動したいと思います。

グループ２）水戸街道と城下町内における建築調査
Group 2 has a broader focus: in order to understand the context and situation in which the Isshiki Family House is located, it is important to survey and inventory the available registered and unregistered cultural properties in the vicinity, and to check and compare their current state with previous research and other books on the historical landscape of the town. In order to see the wider context, Tsuchiura town has been divided into three areas, which will be covered by three sub-groups.
These areas contain several registered and unregistered cultural properties, and the three groups will have to make a photographic inventory based on previous inventories, as well as looking at the broader context of the area. The preparation for the fieldwork involved creating layered maps on Google Earth and Google Maps to visualise the already known important properties by creating layers with the current satellite maps and the historical maps, mixing them together with the results of the architectural survey carried out by the city.
By overlaying these maps, the group will be able to locate the historical elements of the landscape and by visiting these sites, documentation can be carried out. After the fieldwork, the photos taken can be collected, managed and organised to be added to the maps previously created, using the previous research focusing on the historical photos and postcards.
By comparing the old resources with the current situation, the changes in the historic landscape can be understood.

グループ3）地域住民との一色家住宅利活用アイデアに関する意見交流会
グループ3は地域住民交流会を行い、地域住民の方から一色家の歴史や思い出、地域への思いを聞かせていただきました。グループで地域の文化財やその歴史、現在の地域について質問や古写真などを用意し、参加者の意見を聞くことで一色家の活用に向けた調査を進めました。一色家の古い歴史や料亭だった頃の様子、子どもの頃の一色家住宅での思い出など様々な話を聞くことができました。
また、地域住民の知識や経験から、地域の需要に合わせた活用への新たな視点も貰うことができました。地域コミュニティの参加によって、地域住民の思い出の場である文化財を次世代に渡って長く保存・活用することができ、ひいては地域のアイデンティティになるということを感じた交流会でした。
地域住民の方々の思い出が残る一色家をできる限り残したまま、地域の誇りとなるような活用方法を考えていきたいと思います。
