Research Theme: Architectural history; Chinese architectural history; Taihang Baxing(太行八陘); Linear cultural heritage; Cultural Routes; Heritage conservation

Research Topic: Taihang Baxing, an important natural road in the Taihang Mountains, played an important role in military wars, cultural exchanges, commerce and trade in ancient China. Try to research the Taihang Baxing from the perspective of linear cultural heritage, identify the current status of the heritage composition, and identify and register the tangible and intangible heritage along the road. Propose a strategy of heritage conservation and planning and development adapted to the region's development.
